Sometimes it’s divorce, death, or just plain getting out of a bad situation; but whatever it was put you in the position to manage all.the.things alone. No partner to share the load.
Now you may be finding yourself with seriously decreased income, subpar living situations, and that you’re now the sole party responsible for raising your kids. So many people are struggling with the load, and there just hasn’t been a solid resource created to help them get through it by themselves.
So I decided to build it. Let me explain the what’s, why’s, and how’s right now.
StruggleforSanity Was Designed for Single Parents in Need of Support
StruggleforSanity is a resource made for single parents by a single mom. It’s a place you can come to and ask all of the questions that pop up along the way. There is no topic that I’m afraid to share my experience on – good, bad, or ugly.
I spent the better part of two decades as a single mother, so I know the struggle firsthand. I completely understand the regrets, the worries, and the hopes that go along with raising kids by yourself because I’ve been there.
My hope is that sharing my experience can give you some hope and help you to realize that you are not alone. You may physically be alone, but you are definitely not the only one and it WILL get better.
To quote Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, “We will get through this. We will get through this together.”
My commitment to you is to post a weekly blog post to share my life experience with you. I want to walk alongside you on your journey and help you to successfully reach your empty nest without any real regrets, knowing you did the best you could and that your kids are better for the experience of growing up under your wing.
